Welcome to Spot On, Lancashire's Rural Touring Network
Spot On is about giving people across rural Lancashire the chance to have a great night out on your doorstep. It is a network of volunteer promoters in villages across the county who book and promote great theatre, dance, music and children's shows for their communities. This season we bring you a fabulous mix of Danish folk music, Canadian Shakespeare, dance, classical music, cabaret and some delightful Christmas shows.
If you live locally, it can mean a quick walk down the road without worrying about car parking.
If you're visiting, then why not see a show and combine it with a visit to the local pub or a walk in the countryside?
All of our events are made possible by the 288 volunteers across the county who have been delivering arts services in their communities for as long as 15 years. Our promoters work so hard because they love live arts events, and in turn they provide work for professional companies and support their local economy. This great art is possible due to government investment in the arts via the Arts Council, and additional financial support from Lancashire County Council and nine local authorities.
